We are avid proponents of animal rescue.  For the past 10 years all our pets have been rescues.  This has been five cats and 3 dogs.

Our favorite breed of dog is the boxer.  Boxers are the most tolerant breed that I have ever seen with small children.  I have a two year old nephew that drags Rex around the house by grabbing a hold of his jowls (his mouth) and pulling him from room to room.  Rex will whimper a little but go room to room with Nicholas "showing" him everything in the house.
